Ever since I was a little girl, I have been enamored with crystals. As a kid, I kept my crystal collection in a large, unfinished wooden box filled with moss and treated them like pets. I felt a profound connection with them and could sense the individuality of each stone, even without a real understanding of what crystals were at the time.
Crystals contain energy that is subtle, yet powerful. Natural crystals are formed from the earth’s minerals and every crystal has unique healing properties derived from these minerals. You can work with crystals to facilitate healing by placing a stone containing the healing properties associated with your issue directly onto the body. This allows the crystal’s energy to work synergistically with the body’s energy, acting as a conduit to promote healing.
For the skeptics out there, it is worth noting that at the very least, crystals can induce healing through a placebo effect, which can be incredibly powerful in and of itself.
Below is a brief overview of my top 8 healing stones and the chakras associated with them. Most crystals are linked to multiple chakras however I only list one so you can easily begin implementing crystals into your practice without getting too overwhelmed!
